Parisee Named All-America By USCAA, Two Others Honored

Virginia Beach, Va. – Dean College standout goalkeeper, Macy Parisee (East Freetown, Mass.) has been named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American (USCAA) women's soccer All-America team it was announced earlier this month.

Parisee's selection was one of three honors announced for the Bulldogs as both Mackenzie Parisee (East Freetown, Mass.) and Megan Moore (Clifton Park, N.Y.) were named to the USCAA All-Academic Team.

The All-America honor for Parisee comes following a strong season in between the pipes for the junior netminder. She started 14 games, recorded 160 saves and a goals against average of 1.95.

She had seven games with ten saves or more, including 19 in the season opener against Rivier and then 17 stops in a 1-1 tie with Eastern Nazarene.

Meanwhile, Moore, a musical theatre major, collects her second straight all-academic honor from the USCAA, while Parisee, a sports management major, earns her first selection.

In order to earn a spot on the coveted all-academic team, student-athletes must be of at least sophomore standing and have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA.

Playing under first-year head coach Ashley Magruda-Wood, Dean advanced to the conference tournament for the first time and should return a wealth of talent for the 2019 campaign.
