THE LEAD:
Lesley University scored a season-best seven goals and the visiting Lynx improved to 4-0 in conference action with 7-0 win over Dean College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer play on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Lynx waited less than ten minutes to get on the board as Jordan Mitchell (Sachse, Texas) delivered a ball into the box that worked its way to Karlie Rubin (San Diego, Calif.) for her eighth strike of the year at the 9:40 mark.

Lesley added another goal in the 25th minute when Gabby Vesona (North Attleboro, Mass.) dribbled through the middle and found Mitchell for a right footed blast at 24:11.

The Lynx added another when Maddy Deitrick (Burnet, Texas) made a few moves through the Bulldog defense and recorded her third goal of the season in the 40th minute.

Lesley tacked on their fourth goal when Katelyn Scott (Glendora, Calif.) tapped in less than two minutes later.

The second half continued in similar fashion for the Lynx as Holly Buschelman (Long Beach, Calif.) scored and Samantha Bessey (Algonquin, Ill.) found the back of the net twice to account for the final score.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Lesley controlled play for much of the contest, finishing with a 26-1 edge in shots and a 6-0 edge in corner kicks.

Macy Parisee (East Freetown, Mass.) collected seven saves in the loss for the Bulldogs.

UP NEXT:
Dean is off until Saturday when they visit Becker for an NECC contest slated to begin at 11:00 AM.
