THE LEAD:
Visiting Albertus Magnus scored the game's first eight goals of the game and the Falcons posted a 21-6 win over Dean College in non-league women's lacrosse action on Tuesday afternoon.

Kaitlin D'Agostino and Alexis Lape each scored five goals for the visitors, who also got four goals from Madison Neilander.

Meanwhile, the Bulldog offense was paced by four goals from Lauryn Wilks (Hartford, Conn.).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Falcons scored those aforementioned eight goals in a ten minute span to begin the game but Dean answered back when they recorded back-to-back goals from Nicole Romero (Winchendon, Mass.) and Wilks.

Albertus Magnus scored the next three before Wilks added her second of the day, but the Falcons put home two more to into intermission ahead, 13-3.

Makayla Fisher (Irvington, N.J.) opened up the second half with a free position strike, but Albertus Magnus scored the next five goals to take a commanding 18-4 lead.

Dean did get two more goals – both from Wilks – but they never threatened again as the Falcons tacked on three more scores in the final 11 minutes.

UP NEXT:
Dean is back in action on Thursday when they travel to Massachusetts Maritime for a 7:00 PM start against the Buccaneers.
