Makayla Fisher and Kirsten Jobst, members of the Dean College Women's Lacrosse team, were selected to the Independent Women's Lacrosse Schools (IWLS) All Academic Team. To be named a member, a student athlete must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.3 for the year.
Fisher (Irvington, NJ) and Jobst (Vernon, VT) both excelled on the field for the Bulldogs. Fisher started all 12 games and was second on the team with 4 points (4 goals), while Jobst started 11 out of 12 and finished third with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).
Jobst was a senior in the arts and entertainment management program, and Fisher was a sophomore business major.
The IWLS is comprised of nine schools throughout the United States who compete in women's lacrosse.
