Men's Volleyball Gets Split With Gulls, Lynx

Match 1: Endicott 3, Dean 0
The nation's number seven team, Endicott College, ran their winning streak to eight straight matches with an easy 3-0 win over Dean College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) men's volleyball action on Saturday morning.

Endicott hit a sizzling .553 in the three sets, including .668 in each of the first two sets on their way to sweeping the season series from the Bulldogs.

Dean was paced by John Kauffman (Providence, R.I.), who totaled five kills and Jaren Brooks (Odessa, Texas) added four more.

Match 2: Dean 3, Lesley 0
The Bulldogs snapped a 15-match losing streak with a 3-0 league win over Lesley University. The first of two matches between the two teams in a five-day span, saw Kauffman (11 kills) and Brooks (ten kills) power the Bulldogs past the Lynx.

Aaron Brody (Webster, Mass.) contributed six kills of his own, while Chadd Pelletier (Westbrook, Maine) dished out 20 assists.

The Bulldogs had arguably their best set of the season in the final frame, hitting .414, recording 13 kills while committing just one error on 29 swings.

Dean returns to action on Monday when they host Southern Vermont at 7:00 p.m.
