THE LEAD:
Visiting Pine Manor extended its winning streak to eight straight and the Gators topped Dean College 5-0, in non-league men's soccer action on Thursday afternoon at Lippert Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Gators wasted little time putting a dent on the scoreboard when Noel Rios banged home a rebound off of his own shot just 14:36 into the contest.

Oscar Uriel Roque doubled the Pine Manor advantage when he scored off of a feed from Esteban Avila in the 22nd minute.

Pine Manor tacked on another goal before the first half ended when Yanes Seidi took advantage of a turnover on the Bulldog backline and then fired a shot into the upper left corner at 35:58 for his fourth goal of the season.

Andree Hernandez-Garcia added two second half goals for the Gators – one in the 52nd minute and then another in the 76th minute to complete the scoring.

Dean's best scoring chance came in the 68th minute when Kyle Lameiras (North Attleboro, Mass.) got behind the Pine Manor defense but his shot deep inside the box was turned aside by a sliding Angel Pena.

Bryce Antoch (Cranston, R.I.) stopped 12 shots in goal for Dean, while Pena only needed to make one stop for the Gators to secure the shutout.

UP NEXT:
The Bulldogs are off until Sunday when they return to New England Collegiate Conference action with a 2:30 PM start against Becker.
