THE LEAD:
Rhode Island College scored a pair of goals less than five minutes apart late in the first half and the visiting Anchormen recorded a 3-0 win over Dean College in non-league men's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
RIC got on the board in the 31st minute when Kyle Ferreira setup Jack Clancey for his first strike of the year at 30:18.

The Anchormen doubled their advantage exactly four minutes later when Johnathan Olivera connected with Brandon Ramos for a 2-0 RIC lead.

That same duo provided the match's third goal when Ramos fed Olivera at 56:36 to cap the day's scoring.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
The Anchormen held a 24-5 edge is shots and an 11-5 advantage on corner kicks.

Devin Moore (Walpole, Mass.) made ten saves in goal for the Bulldogs, while Charlie Tashjian needed to only make three saves for RIC to record his second straight shutout and third in six games this season.
