Former Bulldog Jalen Williams Signs Contract With New York Giants

Former Dean College Bulldog Jalen Williams signed an undrafted free agent (UDFA) contract today with the New York Giants.  Williams will report to rookie mini-camp on May 12th.

Williams was a standout wide receiver at Dean in 2012 and 2013.  In his sophomore campaign, he was a second team All-NEFC selection.  He registed 358 yards on 25 receptions and scored two touchdowns.  As a freshman, he had 360 yards and four touchdowns. 

After Dean, Williams attended UMass-Amherst. In his senior year in 2016, Williams had the best seaon of his career.  He scored caught 27 passes for 520 yards with 6 touchdowns with a 19.3 yard average per catch.  In 2014, he had 20 catches for 307 yards and 4 touchdowns.  

Williams finished his UMass career with 47 catches and 827 yards in 22 games.  He scored 10 touchdowns.  

A native of Atlanta, Georiga, Williams graduated from North Cobb High School before attending Dean.
