THE LEAD:
Dale Keller went 5-for-5 at the plate and host Eastern Connecticut State posted a 12-0 win over Dean College in non-league baseball action on Wednesday afternoon.

As Keller recorded five hits of his own, the Warrior pitching trio of Nick Rascati, Jason Staub and Jack Risley held the Bulldogs to just five hits as a team in handing them their fourth consecutive loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
After taking a 2-0 lead in the third, Eastern Connecticut State sent 12 batters to the plate in the bottom of the fourth as Keller had two at bats in the frame - a double and an RBI single to right.

Eastern Connecticut State added two more runs in the sixth with one coming off the bat of Keller on an RBI single.

Overall, the Warriors banged out 14 hits and took advantage of four Dean errors which led to four unearned runs.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Brian Hadden (Newburyport, Mass.) had two hits for the Bulldogs, while Travis Dinsdale (Worcester, Mass.), Ben Chajet (Hillsboro Beach, Fla.) and Landon Fish (New Port Richey, Fla.) had the others.

Dean is back in action on Saturday when they host Elms College for a NECC doubleheader at Longley Field.
