THE LEAD:
Eastern Nazarene erased a 4-0 deficit and the host Lions scored eight unanswered runs to top Dean College, 8-4, in non-league baseball action on Tuesday afternoon at Adams Field.

Dylan Louviaux broke a 4-4 tie with a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh to highlight a three-run inning that catapulted the Lions to victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Dean jumped out to the aforementioned 4-0 lead as Landon Fish (New Port Richey, Fla.), Brian Hadden (Newburyport, Mass.) and Vincent Buonaiuto (Danbury, Conn.) all drove in runs in the top of the first.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, that would be all the offense they would be able to muster as Eastern Nazarene slowly erased the four-run deficit.

First, they pushed two runs across on a Steven Pesce single and a Connor Simpson groundout in the second. After single runs in the fourth and fifth, Louviaux delivered the go ahead runs in the seventh, which were followed by a run scoring groundout by Pesce and an unearned run in the eighth.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Xavier Faria came on in relief and tossed four innings, allowing just three hits to improve to 3-0 on the season.

Travis Dinsdale (Worcester, Mass.) went 3-for-5 with a run scored for the Bulldogs in his leadoff spot, while Will Kulcher (Crown Point, Ind.) and Hadden each had two hits.

UP NEXT:
The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday when they visit Eastern Connecticut State at 4:00 p.m.
