Strength & Conditioning At Dean College

Dean College’s Strength & Conditioning Department’s mission is to enhance our teams’ athletic performances through quality preparation, planning and educational guidance.  Injury prevention, efficient movement education, and proper lifting techniques are the core concentrations of each training session and throughout our pre-season, in-season, post-season and off-season planning.

Policies And Procedures

Weight Room Rules

  • No student is allowed to use the facilities without a supervisor, coach, or supervising work-study present
  • Use Spotters and Safety Racks
  • No sandals or bare feet allowed in the weight room
  • No food or gum is allowed in the weight room
  • No glass bottles or cans are allowed in the weight room
  • Offensive comments or language will not be tolerated and offenders will be asked to leave
  • Put all weights away after using
